    Hi,

I’m Inspektor Sedap and I have set up a new food blog at eatinginkl.blogspot.com.

I’ve recently posted up a 100 links post on my blog which included your esteemed food blog as well.

    Here’s the url: http://eatinginkl.blogspot.com/2009/03/blog-post.html

I would appreciate it if we could exchange links. :) Thank you.

    Cheers,
    Inspektor Sedap

    Hi there,

This is my 1st time visiting to your website. Well but everytime when browse to a new page (or even load the main page) it seems like my firefox browser freezes a while, I mean, the browser stopped working for 10 seconds then back to normal!

And this page the contact us email form seems like out of shape. :S

Maybe you’ll need to find a programmer to fix the things up.

    Best regards,
    Marcus

    Hi Marcus,

The page freezes because of the ads we put on top that sometimes stop responding before it can continue to load the remaining of the page… We have highlighted this to the advertisers and hope to get a response from them…

Also, thanks for highlighting the shortcoming on this page. We’ll try to get Huat Koay (our webmaster) to fix it.. well, we don’t really have a programmer to do this.. we do it by trial n error :)

Thanks again for your feedback, appreciate it~! :D

    Hi,

Would you know what has happened to the Bayan Bay Food Court at Bukit Jambul? We were there two days ago and the place looked like it has closed down.

    Thanks and best regards,
    Koandko

    Here is what had happen:

There is a conflict of ownership of the land, between a Malay (who rent out the space to Bayan Bay Food Court) and the Penang Islamic bla bla bla (i dun know the name), the case had brought to court and the Malay lost, so the food court had to move out.

This is what I read from the paper. Hope everything hawker get a new place.

The owner of Bayan Bay Food Court is the same as Restaurant Golden e-Bay opposite Pesta. Seems like they are converting the restaurant into the Food Court. Now the restaurant is renovating.

I just got a forwarded email regarding the RM430++ nasi kandar> firstly, it is obvious that Nasi Kandar can be expensive. Especially if u take sotong, kambing, udang and fish head. a group of 5 can easily reach RM150 with those food included. Just shows how ignorant you all are!! And your statement about ‘could have eaten in a chinese reatsurant’.. so the very cina bukit one.. be like me, a modern and morderate chinese. Nasi Kandar is an icon of Penang and it sure does not come cheap. In the first place, you must order in specific the quantity…etc. Not just say for 14ppl. Stupid!! Say 5 sotong, 5 udang…etc. Of course they tekan u lor… If u feel only spending big in chinese restaurant, then go there. i do not dispute tht got air cond in chinese restaurant..etc, but nasi kandar also has its own specialty. Try think smarter next time..

Thank you for recommendation on the Char Hor Fun stalls. Recently I went to 1 good char hor fun stall, it is the “老招牌” “Sin Kah Pin 新嘉宾” which has moved to the following new location due to the old coffee shop is closed.
New address: junction of Pengkalan Weld & Gat Lebuh Armenian. same side of Shell Station, opposite Wisma Transocean & Hai SoonTrading Company.
Inside the coffee shop named “Chew Jetty Cafe”. You can go and have a try. Is the old authentic char hor fun. :-)
