PenangTuaPui at the moment is diagnosed with fever…
YES, the Korean Food fever! With our madness against Korean BBQ and foods, this time PenangTuaPui went on hunting for a more authentic Korean cuisine within the island of Penang. The search was on…up until Huat Koay finally stumbled upon Choi’s BeeWon, a Korean Traditional Restaurant located on the 3rd floor of Hotel Royal Penang.
Thrilled over his new found gem, Huat Koay insisted on bringing the gang to pay this place a visit.
Our arrival to Choi’s BeeWon restaurant were greeted with spacious and less crowded atmosphere. Situated at the 3rd floor of Hotel Royal Penang, one gets to enjoy the city view through large glass windows while enjoying the meals.
Oh…and do not worry about having to pay high parking rate, as Choi’s BeeWon is giving free parking to all its diners. Just bring along your parking ticket 
Upon our entrance, we were then shortly greeted by a Korean lady, leading us to one of the empty tables.
Only moments later before we realized that the Korean lady was actually Miss Choi, the owner to this restaurant.
Friendly as she is, we had a very pleasant conversation with Miss Choi which at the same time allowed us to discover a little bit more on this family run business.
Having the luxury to grow up in a close-knit family to constantly enjoy mother’s home cooked meal, Miss Choi and her mom partnered to bring her childhood favorites to this restaurant for others to enjoy.
They are so committed to bring the best quality and healthy foods to their customers while at the same time maintaining the traditional Korean cuisine similar to a Korean’s motherly love to their children.
So it seems that Huat Koay indeed found the perfect place that we have been looking for…an authentic Korean Foods! Yumms…wait till you see what is being served! *grin*

Plus, they offer free parking as well as additional 5% discount for earlier reservation

This is one of my favorate restaurant. I usually book the private room before I go
Went there last weekend, we were very pleased with the food quality, taste and the customer service. Although we didn’t book a day ahead (therefore not entitled for 5% discount), Ms Choi was kind enough to give us a 5% discount when we settled the bill. We will defenitely put Choi’s Bee Won as one of my favourite restaurants in Penang.
