J Co Donuts in town. Big Apple vs J Co vs Krispy Kreme!! Doughnuts War?
It had been sometime since our last updates on PenangTuaPui. Lots of emails and calls from you, our dear loyal readers, who ask about us, who encourage us to come back for more. We appreciate all the these. We treasure every single comment, feedback, email, and even calls you had for us.
And here we are. We are back!!!
To be honest I am not a big fan of doughnut, not until my first visit to the Krispy Kreme outlet at US about 2 years ago. It gave me a great experience on doughnuts.
I still remember how exciting it is, waiting patiently for my first bites on them, after an long wait looking on how the processes of machine turned the flour to doughnuts all automated. What an amazing experience. It taste so great and I love the original glazed.
Getting 2nd Big Apple outlet in town months back at Gurney Plaza, and now J Co started their first outlet at Queensbay Mall, Penang, while Krispy Kremehaving their 4th outlet at Malaysia soon at Sunway Pyramids. Doughnuts war started? perhaps…
J Co is my target after I tried Big Apple months back. J Co newly open outlet located at ground floor of Queensbay Mall, few shops away from the main entrance on the right. You will hardly miss it as it is easily spot the J-Co sign from the main entrance.
It is quite surprising when I found J Co did serve the baby donuts like what Krispy Kreme did on their mini doughnuts 20s in a box. I like the concept as I can try more flavor without have to finish the whole big piece of doughnuts. 
Without much hesitate, I grab a box of 24 doughnuts, 2 for each flavor. They look so adorable, small and cute. Don’t you think so?
“Sorry la… to me not much difference… all will end up in my tummy…. :P”, Huat Koay commented.
Before any of us can have a bite on them, Huat Koay stop us to have some “model” shooting for those adorable baby donuts as usual .. *drooling while waiting*

How each of this donuts taste? Which is our first pick? Hmm… I wont comment for each of them, because the amazing first experience I had on Krispy Kreme might make me biased. But overall, J Co mini is sweet to my liking.

Fei fei votes for Big Apple for their durian donuts, my vote will go to Krispy Kreme for sure :P. If you wish to try how each of the doughnuts taste like without burning a hole at your pocket, baby donut RM17.++ is a good option.
Don’t understand how could it be making it so huge and stunning in donut biz?? I find all types of donuts very sweet.

I tried their mango blitz and another with chocolate flavour. Both is good!

J Co in town? haha.. I didn’t know that J Co has MINI doughnuts! somehow, I find the rave over these cute little rings have decreased.. don’t you think so? Not as popular as last time where people are willing to line up for hours over them

krispy kreme is too sweet for me..big apple is my fav…i like the kiwi blitz..cheezy..and many many more..but don’t really like the durian 1…JCo..still haven’t try it yet..looking forward..:)
