The oyster mee is da bomb!
i must try this place…..the fried oyster looks good!
Finally someone blogged about it. I like this place very much.
I have yet to try out the food at this outlet. Nice to see all the food at your blog.
this shop brings back memories. we actually grew up with ang hoay loh dishes. my maternal grandparents side are very traditional hokkien. used to go there all the time with mom, gramps and great-gramps. the place used to be packed to the brim drng lunch hours. i hope it is still the case.. will visit the place when i get back home…
This restaurant used to by my favourite one too! I sure order their oyster noodles and bak khi one.
Until now I still can’t get used to hokkien cuisine yet
Seems tht I read a lot of “salty” comments on ya post.. I don’t like mah food salty one worr.. can ask to reduce salt one ah?

I am new to bak khi. Will try it out next time. The oyster mee and fried oysters made me drooling now.
There’s another branch of Ang Hoay Lor near macallum street , at the end of Jelutong expressway. They serve the same thing..
have not tried bak khi before. looks like shark fin soup but without the shark fins hehehe

where exactly is the restaurant that is in the heart of old georgetown. sorry am out of town.
