Supper at Sin Tai Tung | Penang Seafood
Penang food is available almost anytime of the day and certain places will continue to buzz with food related activities even when most of the people are ready to hit the sack. We had a long discussion with one of our business partners till we forgot dinner time was over…
So left with nothing to eat, we decided to drink… just kidding, hehehe. We went to seafood chu char place along Macalister Road for our supper then, just next to Menara Umno.
Sin Tai Tung Seafood is inside Kedai Makanan Joo Seong at the corner of Macalister Road and Jalan Zainal Abidin

First dish to arrive, stir fried clams in tao cheo (fermented soya beans)
There was a strong tao cheo taste which Fei Fei quite liked it
Potato leaves in sambal was a bit salty and small but delicious. It was the first dish we finished that night
The venison meat was a little bit hard as well
Taste wise, it was good
The curry fish was the best dish we had that night
Strong in flavour and thick in gravy, the curry fish uses stingray as part of the ingredients
What would be the best way to chill down together with seafood meal?
A glass of beer, of course~!
Just the perfect drink to finish our seafood meal… We spent RM36.00 for the dishes excluding the beer and drinks.

That place is cheap and good. The first chinese chur cha I went that have beef dishes.

we’ve just updated the business hours..
This is one of my family zhu char place.
Next time, perhaps u can try the sweet and sour fish, they taste nice.
But Balacan fried chicken is not recommended…

I have not visited this place. The food looks good plus the prices of the four dishes are very reasonable…another chu char place for the family

this is one of my family’s favourite Zhu Char…
must try the sweet and sour fish fillet….
but we felt that the Balacan Fried chicken is too dry…

This place officially closed at 10pm but we were there around 10.30pm plus and we still could order food…
well, it could be there were still customers around so they continue to serve until the last…
definitely must try the food there, you’ll go for more ! Open at about 2+ near 3pm until 10+pm everyday except for Tuesday !
