Restaurant | Karaikudi @ Market Street - walk in experience
After our initial review weeks ago, we came back to this place again to savor on authentic Indian cuisine. Karaikudi Restaurant at Market Street is beginning to become our recommended place for Indian food. Of course, there are many more Indian food restaurant within this area but we will gradually cover them too.

Also, we have managed to grab some good deals for our readers which we will show you at the end of the post. We hope with this incentive, like those we have done during our 1st year anniversary, will encourage readers to try out dishes we personally have tried and worth to recommend.

The signboard of the restaurant.

The decorations are all imported from India to reflect its authenticity.

If you were dining downstairs, look up to see the decor like these above you.

Another statue imported from India as well.

Remember these? We showed them during our invited review then. These are located on the top floor.

Mutton Briyani (RM11.50) - Tender mutton with basmathi rice and spices. The gravy and yogurt are mixed together with the rice before consumed in a way to digest the food easier.

Chicken Briyani (RM9.50) - Tender pieces of chicken cooked with basmathi rice and spices. Just differentiate this one and the other with the egg on top.

Kali Mirchi Kabab (RM12.00) - cubes of chicken marinated with yoghurt & pound black pepper. Comes with mint chetni sauce (mixture of mint and yoghurt)

Another shot of Kali Mirchi Kabab. Kali Mirchi means Black Pepper

Prawn Masala (RM19.00) cooked with spices & tomato gravy

Prawn Masala (RM19.00), Aloo Gopi Masala (RM8.00) , cubes of potato and cauliflower cooked with indian style curry and Kadai Chicken (RM11.00) ,chicken cooked with special gravy and served with kadai.

Kulcha (RM4.00) - a softer and flakier version of naan topped with sesame seeds. Kulcha is normally made with wheat flour (maicha)
