Penang Food | Curry Mee - Jalan Datuk Keramat
We normally looked forward to weekends as it was the time for us to do food hunting without time limitations. As long as our stomachs could continue to fill up the dish we eat, we will continue to keep looking; at times we would go for 5 types of breakfast in one session.
After our breakfast at the Clarke Street Koay Teow Th’ng, we moved to Datuk Keramat for a bowl of curry mee. The curry mee stall was located outside Restoran Tong Hooi which was just opposite Ah Leng Char Koay Teow. This stall used to be selling the curry mee at the Stadium before moving here.
The curry mee here was quite simple with the taste almost similar to the one at Air Itam Curry Mee. It did not have strong flavour but you can always choose to add chili to increase the flavour. The cockerel used was quite fresh too when we had them.
The seller was quite hygienic too as he would wear plastic glove on the hand which he had to take the ingredients. A simple gesture to show how much they concern about hygiene for hawker food. Each bowl of curry mee sells at RM2.30 for regular and RM2.80 for large.

the curry mee so so la… no curry base one.. like the one at Air Itam sister Curry mee..:(
