Malay Food | Three ‘N’ Ikan Bakar
Since our last visit to Hammer Bay Ikan Bakar Special, Warung Kelapa Sawit and Restoran Mak Long, we added some more varieties to our food hunt. One of the reasons we started to write food review about Malay Food was due to the spiciness and sweetness in their food as well as their unique cooking style. And we thought they would become great addition to really have a complete Penang Food Guide.
This round our food hunt had led us to another Ikan Bakar stall near Tesco but nearer to Stallion Apartment. Huat Koay said this was one of his favourite dating places. It was quite difficult to get parking here but being Penangites or Malaysian, the practice of parking at the road side applied here. In fact, there was no proper parking place nearby anyway.
The environment here was quite nice from view perspective. Why? The view of traffic at the Greenlane was just directly in front of us and knowing that other people are stucked at the traffic jam or busy while we were able to settle down at the ikan bakar stall here and enjoying our meals, we could say we were quite grateful for not being one of them.
The ikan bakar had a chili paste which was quite nice, with its spiciness and hot taste that tingled our taste buds. The sotong bakar and the tom yam was just average though. Seemed like the ikan bakar was the only main interest here. If you have no place to hang out or not knowing where to have dinner next time, can try coming here for a change.

I had never been to try out the food there even daily passing by. My friend was there last few week ago and they claim that the food was so so and I was a bit reluctant to try out and some more like very quiet there 1. May be next time have to try out some small snack there instead to taste their skill.
