hello, I’m Koay. Actually I’m from Bukit Mertajam. But currently I’m studying in London, United Kingdom. I know where is the char koey teow locates and i heard so many people praised. I think it should be nice but i never try before.I will try it when I come back from overseas. I really miss Malaysian food.I felt Malaysian food is the nicest food in the world.

You should go try this out. It’s much, much cheaper than Lorong Selamat or Sisters. Some more, we like it because the uncle uses charcoal one… just like the way we used to have when we were kids.. Reminiscence is the word.

I’ve heard so much of this stall but never got round to trying it. Mainly becoz I am so disillusioned with the many supposedly famous CKT stalls (eg: Lorong Selamat, Sisters) which I *hate* with a vengence! Soooo overpriced and super lansi attitude. Makes me wanna swear off CKT forever.

Thank God for authentic stalls like this Apek that restores my faith in CKT sellers in Penang. Still decently-priced and tastes authentically good.

Thanks for sharing this, guys. Have definitely added this place to my places-to-makan-b4-i-die list.

That’s right Andrew,

This uncle sells from one place to another but luckily it’s just across the road… So it’s not hard to find but got to know when is the right time to go so that there won’t be long queue… :):)
