Fast Food | Domino’s Pizza
We got the email the other day stating there would be another newly opened pizza outlet within Bayan Lepas area. Our reaction was “Great” since now we have more choice than the regular Pizza Hut which is nothing but top up bread.
But we missed out the special opening offer that promoted 10 cents pizza for second purchase. What a waste! Of course, there is also US Pizza at Greenlane but it may be a little bit far at times…
The latest outlet opened at Kristal Point, Bayan Lepas and the third in Penang after Greenlane and Taman Inderawasih branches. All the three branches in Penang offer only take out as well as delivery orders only. If you happen to be at Kristal Poin and decided not to have Pizza, you can choose Soba Yoshi, Chou Shun Kan BBQ or even the Flame Steamboat buffet.
There is no option to dine in here, but we will tell you how we still managed to dine in.. hahaha
The setting is pretty much simple which you make your orders over the counter like any fast food outlet. Once order made, you would be given a slip that would tell you of your order number.
Domino’s guarantees 30-minute pizza delivery or a free pizza voucher. Hmm… how about take-away one? Can guarantee pizza in 10 minutes or a free pizza too?
Instead of eating out, we decided to “dine in” at the waiting area since there were not many people at that time. Even the staffs did not mention we could not eat there. So just pretend don’t know-lor…hehehe
The garlic bread was different and looked like a pizza that had been folded into half. The texture was more like pizza rather than bread but it did taste delicious.
Our pizza was the crunchy thin crusted Awesome Foursome which contained 4 different types of flavour: Yankee Chicken, Metropolitan Chicken, Manhattan Seafood & Triple Cheese. Besides US Pizza, now you can opt for different types of flavours in one pizza through Domino’s Pizza.
We do like this option as it allowed us to savor different taste in one pizza, instead of buying four pizzas.
Besides Crunchy Thin Crusted, you can also choose Classic Hand Tossed or Cheese Double Decker as the base. To us, this is definitely something different form the regular bread type pizza.

Oh, I love Pizza too. For the 10 cents on second pizza, I got the voucher leh. They just sent it to my mailbox the other day. Not yet expired. I not yet try Domino’s, so I am not sure how good is it. Since you said good, I think it will not be very bad. Haha.

First of all, I like how you organize your blog especially the new look. Picture you took made the food look real good, your food map is really innovative and helpful. I have been enjoying your blog.
May I suggest that you use a rating system for the food you sampled and tasted. If i am not mistaken, you use color coded to differentiate food you like or don’t like in the description but sometimes readers find it easy if you just have a 9/10 rating (e.g.) to summarize at the end.
